Today was real low-key. We had some of Liz (on one of my roomie's) friends over for breakfast - they are all students doing internships in D.C. One of the girls was a member of Dance Company when I was at Hillcrest High School! It was so bizarre to see her again, here, in my apartment in New York City, I hadn't seen her for over 4 years. So crazy! Small world. Then I walked to church with my roomie Erika - we went down Columbus and she pointed out Meg Ryan's bookstore in "You've Got Mail" as well as some restaurants she recommended. I love it.
Church is held in the same building as the Manhattan temple. It looks like a big cement block - a totally normal business building - and is sound-proof. It was a nice service and I was glad to meet some folks :-)
Then I came home, ate food, caught up on emails, listened to music, read, wrote in my journal, and cleaned my room. Nothing too crazy. Goodnight, New York. You're beautiful!
It was great to talk to you briefly today. Love you!
