Instruments

The voice is the only perfect instrument. As all man-made things are corrupt, so are instruments. But their necessity has given them a flavour that we can't ignore anymore. It's capable of performing any form of ornamentation except for polyphony (meaning suspensions with oneself). It was the first instrument, and it was borne of a need for communication that transcended physical communication. (However, I feel that even the deaf/dumb still have voices and do speak in ways I can't understand.)

It told the first stories and sang the first songs. It inspired everything that came after it. Even the voice itself was borne of The Voice.

It is infinite and sacred and such a gift to all of us.
